Activity Approval

Planning something exciting? Brilliant — we love to see great activities happening across the District.

To help keep all of our young people and volunteers safe, and to make sure everything runs smoothly, we operate a District activities approval process in line with POR 9.1.2.1. Our policy in line with this rule means that we require approval from the District Lead Volunteer for:

  • any activity taking place outside of your usual, single designated place of meeting, and
  • any activity that is classed as an adventurous activity

Before submitting your request, please make sure your activity has been properly planned, including a suitable and sufficient risk assessment, and that any required permits are in place.
